The year 2023 is drawing to a close, and what a year it’s been for the team at Conjure. As the digital landscape continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, we continue to stand at the forefront of innovation and excellence. The year 2023 has been nothing short of extraordinary for us, marked by some incredible events, industry-leading accolades, and underpinned by our constant commitment to fostering connections within the industry and beyond.

Interfacing the Future: A Visionary Start

Kicking off the year with a bang, we set the tone for 2023 with our acclaimed event, “Interfacing the Future”. Held in January, this gathering brought together tech enthusiasts, professionals, and thought leaders under one roof, the Barbican’s to be exact, to explore the latest technological advancements in their respective fields.

The event featured an impressive lineup of four distinguished guest speakers, Tom Mason, Sameer Shirgaonkar, James Norris, and Roushanak Rahmat, each an authority in their domain. Our esteemed guests were treated to insightful discussions that delved into the cutting-edge developments shaping the present and future iterations of the digital landscape.

From artificial intelligence to tech in healthcare, “Interfacing the Future” proved to be an immersive and thoroughly enjoyable experience that fueled the collective imagination of those who came along.

Conjure Circle Breakfasts: Connecting Minds, Forging Futures

Throughout 2023, we continued our commitment to building meaningful connections with our ever-present Conjure Circle Breakfasts. Held on a monthly basis when possible, they became a melting pot of ideas, experiences, and expertise for professionals from a number of industries and roles.

Attendees not only enjoyed a hearty breakfast at The Delaunay, but also engaged in stimulating conversations that transcended traditional professional boundaries that culminated in an evening version held at our offices.

In this year’s breakfasts, we took far too many valuable insights to mention but we want to thank everyone who participated. We have learnt a lot from our guests and have met some incredible people, making lots of new “Friends of Conjure” along the way!

Back-to-Back Victories at the UK Agency Awards & UK Business Tech Awards

Conjure’s prowess in the digital sphere was officially recognised on a national scale in 2023. We clinched two coveted awards — the UX Agency of the Year (small) at the UK Agency Awards and the Digital Agency of the Year at the UK Business Tech Awards.

The recognition affirmed our relentless pursuit of excellence in user experience design and digital innovation throughout a number of years on a variety of projects and, as the judges themselves said, really highlighted the talent and expertise we have at our disposal at Conjure.

Conjure Takes on Healthcare at UHUK

Recognising the transformative potential of digital solutions in the healthcare sector, and given our recent work with NHS and other healthcare related companies, we seized the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, professionals, and innovators at one of the largest healthcare conferences in the UK — UHUK.

Our presence was marked by insightful discussions, engaging presentations, and collaborative networking sessions with other guests, and there were lots of very interesting ideas shared on how technology and healthcare will become evermore intertwined. Our experience there not only enhanced our reputation in the healthcare sector, but also reinforced Conjure’s commitment to utilising digital solutions for the greater good.

The Queen of Conjure’s Triple Triumph

Within the Conjure family, one individual shone particularly brightly in 2023 — the Queen of Conjure herself, Rachel Brown. Rachel was undoubtedly the linchpin of the entire operation, but she also secured the prestigious Conjurer of the Month award not once, not twice, but an incredible three times throughout the year.

Her consistent dedication, innovative thinking, and outstanding contributions to projects earned her the admiration and respect of colleagues and clients alike. The Queen of Conjure exemplified Conjure’s values, embodying the excellence that we strive towards with all of our work. Her impact rippled through the company, inspiring peers and setting a high standard for all to follow.

As we bid farewell to 2023, Conjure’s journey is a reflection of the year that was, but is also a preview of the innovative strides we will continue to make in the digital landscape. With a foundation built on excellence, collaboration, and a forward-thinking mindset, Conjure is poised to make an even greater impact in the years to come.
